Solar Flares and how they affect us

I recently sent out my Center's newsletter and received an overwhelming response to the Solar Flares article. I wanted to post it here for those who don't receive the newsletter since it does have some valuable information.

What is a Solar Flare?A solar flare is a brief eruption of intense high-energy radiation from the sun's surface, associated with sunspots and causing electromagnetic disturbances on the earth, as with radio frequency communications and power line transmissions. Solar flares release vast amounts of high-energy particles and gasses that are tremendously hot.

Why speak about Solar Flares?
I have been having conversations with people, lately, that have a reoccurring theme going on and statement. The statement, "I thought Mercury Retrograde was over." As I spoke with a colleague, the other day, she had mentioned solar flares and how they effect electronics and thought this could be the culprit for the electronics still on the fritz. She got me thinking, so I researched a bit on solar flares. Come to find out, they affect more than that.
I found an article that has some wonderful research in it and have the link for you to check it out for yourself.

In the article it gives you symptoms of how you are being affected by the solar flares and what it could be causing. Here are the symptoms from the article itself; Solar Flares affect the Central Nervous System (stomach lining), all brain activity (including equilibrium), along with human behavior and all psycho-physiological (mental-emotional-physical) response. Solar flares can cause us to be nervous, anxiousness, worrisome, jittery, dizzy, shaky, irritable, lethargic, exhausted, have short memory problems and heart palpitations, nausea, queasiness, and to have prolonged head pressure or headaches.

In my conversations with people, they have expressed some of these symptoms and we only attributed it to the energy shifts that are occurring. Part is true but with the solar flare activity increasing, this could be the added to what we are experiencing.
